Why this works

A creamy, energy-dense dip with a useful protein boost from Greek yoghurt and cheese, but it is high in fat and saturated fat and best enjoyed in modest portions.

Calcium. The Greek yoghurt and grated cheese provide calcium, which supports bone and teeth health.

Protein. This dip offers a moderate protein contribution per serving, mainly from the yoghurt and cheese.

Sodium and saturated fat. Mayonnaise, cheese and added salt push the saturated fat and sodium upwards, so this is not a low-salt or heart-friendly option.

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yoghurt and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Stir in the sweet chilli sauce and a splash of vinegar to sharpen the flavour.
  3. Add the Creamfields grated cheese and a pinch of salt, then mix until evenly combined.
  4. Taste and adjust with a little more salt if needed.
  5. Chill for 5 minutes before serving, or serve straight away as a dip.
