Why this works
A filling, protein-rich meal with moderate carbohydrate and fat, but relatively high sodium and saturated fat due to the added salt, butter and minced beef.
Good protein content. Minced beef and yoghurt provide around 29g protein per serving, supporting muscle maintenance and satiety.
Source of potassium and vitamin C. Potatoes and lettuce contribute potassium, while lettuce adds a modest amount of vitamin C and folate.
Saturated fat and salt concern. Butter, minced beef and added salt increase saturated fat and sodium, which may be less suitable for heart-healthy eating.
Method
- Preheat the oven to 210°C (Fan 190°C, 410°F, Gas Mark 6) or 200°C (Fan 180°C, 392°F, Gas Mark 6).
