Why this works

A protein-rich, relatively low-carbohydrate wrap filling with moderate fat and sodium; best suited to a balanced meal rather than a low-salt option.

High-quality protein. Minced beef and Greek yoghurt provide a substantial protein boost, supporting muscle maintenance and satiety.

Vitamin C and antioxidants. Red cabbage contributes vitamin C and plant antioxidants, which support immune function and add nutritional value.

Sodium awareness. The added salt pushes sodium up, so this dish may be less suitable for those monitoring blood pressure or total salt intake.

Method

  1. Cook the minced beef in a frying pan over a medium-high heat for 6-7 minutes until browned, seasoning with salt and black pepper.
  2. Stir in the finely shredded red cabbage and cook for 2-3 minutes so it softens slightly but stays crunchy.
  3. Mix the Greek yoghurt with a little salt and black pepper to make a simple dressing.
  4. Fill lettuce leaves with the beef and cabbage mixture, then spoon over the yoghurt dressing.
  5. Serve immediately while the filling is warm and the lettuce is crisp.
