Why this works

A light, protein-containing yoghurt pot with modest sugar from fruit juice and a fairly low energy content overall.

Calcium and protein. Greek yoghurt and yoghurt provide protein and calcium, supporting muscle maintenance and bone health.

Vitamin C. Lemon and orange juice contribute vitamin C, which supports immune function and collagen formation.

Low salt. This recipe is naturally very low in sodium, making it suitable for a lower-salt diet.

Method

  1. Zest the lemons finely and juice them if needed.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the Greek yoghurt, yoghurt, orange juice, lemon zest and a little lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and add more lemon juice if you want a sharper citrus flavour.
  4. Divide the mixture between 2 serving glasses or bowls.
  5. Chill for 5 minutes, then serve straight away, topped with a little extra lemon zest if you like.
